The Policy and Standards Unit (PSU) develops FSC policies and standards, and provides guidance and interpretation where necessary. FSC International Policy

An FSC international policy is a document approved by the FSC Board of Directors which specifies a course of action or guiding principle formally adopted by FSC.

FSC international policies generally require further actions in order to be implemented - for example, the development or modification of FSC standards, changes in FSC procedures, or other actions.
