FSC has number of ways in which individuals and organizations can show their support for our objective of promoting responsible management of the world's forests. Opportunities include:
Donors
Become an FSC donor and support environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests.
FSC has played a leading role in improving forest management worldwide for more than a decade. It develops solutions to problems facing the world's forest to create economic, social and environmental benefits for this and future generations. Its people and organizations work at the front line to deliver strong and measurable outcomes.
Donors (either individual, organizations, grups or companies)normally provide support for core activities, development activities in particular regions, project activities such as policy development or marketing activities. For further information contact marketing@fsc.org

Partnerships
There are opportunities for significant and long-term involvement and support for FSC by organizations and corporations. Partners must have a commitment to FSC and its values of openness, transparency and responsible use of the world's resources. All proposals will be carefully evaluated to ensure they do not give rise to potential or actual conflict of interest. Partnerships will generally be at two levels:
Global Partner Global partnerships are for general support of the organization. These are significant contributions and may be cash or in-kind over at least three years. Global partners will be acknowledged in all FSC general publications (including web site and annual report). Employees of global partners will be invited to participate in selected events and to gain first hand knowledge of FSC activities in forest areas.
Project partner Project support will normally be associated with a particular project over three years. Contributions may be cash or in-kind.
Projects could include:
- Support for development of a particular National Initiative
- Support for development of a Regional Office
- Support for a policy review consultation program
- Support for a marketing program
- Support for a major event.
All project partners will be acknowledged in the FSC Annual Report and in material associated with the particular project that is being supported. Employees of project partners will be encouraged to participate and contribute to the project being supported.

Sponsor
FSC has a range of opportunities for organizations and corporations to sponsor FSC activities and programs. This is a way organizations can demonstrate their commitment to promoting responsible forest management. Opportunities include:
- The FSC newsletter "News & Notes"
- FSC web pages and services
- FSC's 10th Anniversary and selected events
- The FSC International Centre in Bonn
Income from sponsorship will be invested in particular events or in improving the quality and range of specified services. In addition to being able to use the FSC logo in an Annual Report, benefits would include acknowledgement on material associated with the event, program or service.

Corporate, Organisational and Individual Membership
Show your commitment to promoting responsible management of the world's forests by becoming an FSC member. You will be required to sign a commitment and demonstrate that you are acting on that commitment. As members, organizations and individuals have a say in the governance of FSC and will be listed in our website.
