Purpose

To provide a forum where retailers, with a commitment to the FSC system, can:

•Exchange ideas & work directly with FSC International on issues of mutual interest

•Raise issues impacting their ability to reliably source and promote FSC products

•Resolve issues that impact their ability to fully realize the value of their investment in FSC

And a forum where FSC International can:

•Discuss new policy initiatives and changes with those likely to be impacted by these changes

•Work with retailers on issues such as product verification, product related and promotional use of the FSC trademark

Meeting September 13.2004-Overview

On September 13, 2004, 24 representatives of companies, organizations, FSC National Initiatives and FSC International met in Bonn to discuss issues of mutual interest such as retailer registration, promotion of FSC products and the establishment of a permanent retailer forum.
