Get the most out of FSC –
A workshop for NGOs - December 13th, 2006
The FSC National Initiatives around the Baltic Sea would like to invite you to participate in a workshop in Poland from the 27th of February to the 2nd of March, 2007. The goal of the workshop is to ease the access for NGOs to the existing procedures and the new tools that are being developed.
The workshop aims at providing:
• an insight into the procedures behind getting a forest FSC certified. You will learn how your NGO as a stakeholder can influence a certification
• practical training in how to give input and comment
• a step by step guide to stakeholder involvement in the FSC system
• an opportunity to obtain contact to other NGOs who are also active within forestry
• an opportunity to discuss with FSC staff how to improve the access and usability of the FSC system
