In early December 2005, FSC will be holding its fourth General Assembly of Members.
For more than one decade, an average of 250 members of the social, environmental and
economic chambers come together every three years to define the future of the world's forests.
This year, for first time since its foundation, FSC will hold its General Assembly in
Manaus, Brazil. There, participants from over the world representing different
interests and committed to the FSC's mission to promote responsible forest management
will define FSC's future for the coming years.
Each General Assembly represents an opportunity for everybody to share,
learn, exchange and explore business opportunities or establish new
alliances to create a better future of the forests.
