FSC Principles and Criteria
The 10 Principles and associated Criteria describe how the forests have to be managed.
They include managerial aspects as well as environmental and social requirements.
Only the General Assembly of FSC members change the FSC Principles and Criteria can by a vote of a majority. All other FSC rules are further specification of the requirements laid out in the FSC Principles and Criteria.
