This is a newsletter aimed at small and community producers in the FSC system and the people and organizations that support them, including our own FSC membership.
The purpose of this update is to explore important themes in certification for small and community producers. This includes FSC policies (e.g. group certification, SLIMF eligibility, SLIMF streamlined procedures), market opportunities, research on smallholder issues, and other topics of interest.
Through this newsletter, FSC will bring you a variety of articles written by FSC staff and guest authors. We aim to bring our readers the best expertise and experience, and provide you with links to resources and information to help you achieve and maintain FSC certification.
This newsletter is also an invitation to a conversation on the issues and topics that are important to you. We look forward to feedback and comments from our readers and hope to spark the kind of lively debate that brings new information and ideas to light.
